The Anti-Deception Coordination Centre (ADCC) under the Commercial Crime Bureau was presented with the Outstanding Community Partnership Award by the Singapore Police Force (SPF) on February 19 to recognise ADCC’s commitment and contribution towards preventing and deterring scams. This award affirmed ADCC’s determination against scams and efforts in upholding international collaborations in the fight against scams.

Since its establishment in 2017, ADCC has been actively working with the Anti-Scam Centre of the Commercial Affairs Department within SPF to combat deception-related crimes, including the establishment of a reciprocal stop-payment mechanism. Between July 2017 and February 2024, a total of 659 stop-payment requests were handled between the two places, with a total of HK$286 million crime proceeds withheld.

ADCC is granted the Outstanding Community Partnership Award by the Singapore Police Force.
