National Study Programme for Training Staff of Disciplinary Forces


Senior Superintendent Tsang Chiu-tong led four officers of the School of Foundation Training, Police College, together with 20 representatives from six other disciplinary forces forming a 25-person delegation, to attend the National Study Programme for Training Staff of Disciplinary Forces at Peking University between December 13 and 23, 2023. The programme featured a series of lectures delivered by mainland experts and scholars, covering “Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in a New Era” and the political system of the country. In addition, the delegates visited the Beijing Police College and the People’s Public Security University of China. They also toured the National Museum of China, the Museum of the Communist Party of China and several historical monuments to deepen their understanding about the history, situation and development of the motherland.


Study programme at PPSUC


Senior Superintendent Chu Ki-kin and Superintendent Chow Shun-wai led a group of 28 officers, including 11 chief inspectors and 15 senior inspectors, to attend the 107th study programme organised by the People’s Public Security University of China (PPSUC) between January 8 and 19, 2024. The programme covered the latest updates on national affairs, strategies and policing in the mainland. The officers were also arranged to tour several national museums and historical landmarks, such as the Museum of the Communist Party of China, for deepening their sense of patriotism.
