The Public Relations Wing (PR Wing) held the 2nd PH Race at the Junior Police Call Permanent Activity Centre and Integrated Youth Training Camp at Pat Heung (PH), attracting over 400 participants. Commissioner Siu Chak-yee, Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Chow Yat-ming, Director of Operations Chan Tung and Assistant Commissioner (Public Relations) Chan Sze-tat attended as officiating guests for the kick-off ceremony.

PH Race combined elements of police work, aiming to enhance public understanding of police work for community connection through sports and team competition. To celebrate the 180th anniversary of the Force, the race featured 18 checkpoints with a total length of approximately 1.8km. A new feature of this year’s event was the highest zip-line system in Hong Kong, which was 20m above the ground and stretched 86m. After the race, the zip-line system would be retained for regular training purposes. This year’s competition comprised seven cup races for the Police 180 Elite Cup, Police 180 Cup, Law Enforcement Elite Cup, Elite Teen Cup, JPC 50 Cup, Elite League Cup and Legacy Cup.

The Commissioner led Public Relations Wing officers to join the CP Invitational Race, competing against teams from the Police Mentorship Programme, Auxiliary Undergraduate Scheme and Operation Breakthrough. In addition to the obstacle race, the activity also featured exhibition booths and dance performances by JPC members from Central District, Yau Tsim District, and Yuen Long District on a stage especially set up this year.
