The 2024/2025 local rugby league organised by the Hong Kong China Rugby concluded in March. After more than six months of competition, the Police Women’s Rugby Team, “Police Sirens”, won the Grand Championship of the 12-player community league.

The Police Rugby Club is dedicated to participating in local rugby activities and actively promoting the development of rugby in the local community. Each season, the club sends out teams to participate in various competitions, with team members including serving police officers, retired officers, and their children. Additionally, the club recruits the younger generation to participate as new members through mini-rugby and Operation Breakthrough.

Team members are receiving training proactively for the upcoming competitions. The club will hold a Beginner Rugby Course during the summer vacation at the Police Sports and Recreation Club, where professional rugby coaches will teach basic rugby knowledge and skills. The course is open to all regular, auxiliary, civilian personnel as well as their relatives and friends. Please contact Adrian Chan (9833-8237) for inquiries about men’s rugby and mini-rugby; or Ade Wong (9131-6592) for inquiries about women’s rugby.
