New Zealand


Senior Superintendent Law Shu-pui led a 12-member delegation to visit New Zealand Police (NZP) between February 17 and 21. The delegates had in-depth discussion with local chiefs and officers to exchange strategies for meeting potential challenges and share experience in major event policing, community policing, financial crime investigation and public relations. The delegation also visited the NZP National Headquarters, the Royal New Zealand Police College, as well as district command and control centres and custody facilities to understand the local policing facilities.


The Netherlands


Senior Superintendent Yuen Ching-fong led an eight-member delegation to visit the Netherlands Police Force (NPF) between March 3 and 7. During the visit, the delegation was arranged to visit various national agencies and units under NPF. The local officers provided detailed briefings on their latest advancements in combatting cybercrime and utilising advanced technology to assist investigations. They also exchanged experience across various law enforcement domains, emphasising the fight against transnational crimes linked to drugs and child sexual exploitation. The delegations presented an overview of the Hong Kong Police Force, highlighting its challenges and developments in combatting cybercrimes. The delegates also participated in fruitful discussions with the local officers.
