Officers from the Financial Intelligence and Investigation Bureau (FIIB) went to Sacred Heart Canossian School, Carmel Divine Grace Foundation Secondary School and SKH All Saints’ Middle School on March 26, April 10 and April 15 respectively. They shared knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) with secondary students. A microfilm titled “Your Life, Your Choice” was played to enhance the students’ law-abiding awareness. On April 15 and 16, FIIB officers met with teachers and students at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to promote crime prevention messages.

Once again, the AML promotional truck toured all districts in the territory between April 13 and 26. In collaboration with the Animal Watchers Programme of Kowloon West, FIIB invited the two British Angora rabbits to join the tour on April 13. On the same day, FIIB officers joined the seminar on national security and crime prevention organised by Hong Kong Island to promote national security and AML awareness among over 300 Indonesian domestic workers. After that, FIIB officers were joined by personnel from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Consulate General of the Philippines in HKSAR to distribute promotional leaflets to Filipino domestic workers at Central, reminding them not to fall prey to the traps of money laundering.
