The Force was invited to attend the World Crisis & Emergency Management Summit 2025 organised by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority of the United Arab Emirates held in Abu Dhabi from April 8 to 9 alongside representatives from the Security Bureau and the Fire Services Department. Officers of the Information Systems Wing showcased the innovative Smart Rescue Ecosystem of the mobile app HKSOS, highlighting its integration of advanced technology for accurate location pinpointing and real-time rescue intelligence analysis to enhance significantly the efficiency of search and rescue missions and interdepartmental emergency response capabilities.
As an international exchange platform on crisis and emergency management, this year’s summit, titled “Together Towards Building Global Resilience”, attracted exhibitors and experts from many countries and districts to exchange their professional knowledge and strengthen global cooperation.
