The Police Licensing Office and Liquor Licensing Board (LLB) organised a night visit on April 26 to inspect a number of liquor-licensed premises in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui. The visit was joined by a total of 41 representatives from LLB and relevant government departments, including the Chairperson of LLB Ms Hui Mei-sheung, Director of Food and Environmental Hygiene Mr Ng Man-kit and representatives from LLB, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, Fire Services Department, Buildings Department and Environmental Protection Department.


The attendees received a briefing from the Force on the enforcement actions relating to liquor-licensed premises. They then joined the frontline officers in inspecting a number of liquor-licensed premises to understand the daily operation of the liquor-licensed premises and the challenges faced by law enforcement officers. The attendees indicated that the visit facilitated their work in processing liquor licence applications and appeals. They also commended the professionalism demonstrated by the Force in the management of liquor-licensed premises.
