“Transcend 50 Years” is a documentary produced by the Force in collaboration with TVB News to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Special Duties Unit (SDU). Recently, the documentary has been awarded a Finalist Diploma in the “Documentary: Heroes” category at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards 2025. This three-part documentary, produced over the course of more than a year, depicts the rigorous training for and the noble mission of SDU officers via the use of stunning visuals.

This international honour not only attests to the world-class expertise and professionalism of the Force members but also represents a worldwide recognition of SDU’s extraordinary contributions.
