To celebrate the promulgation and implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law and the 5th anniversary of the establishment of National Security Department (NSD), NSD held a Kick-start Ceremony of NSpeed National Security (NS) Express Promotional Truck on June 13. Commissioner Chow Yat-ming, Deputy Commissioner (NS) Kan Kai-yan, Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Yip Wan-lung and Assistant Commissioner (NS) (2) Kwok Ka-chuen officiated at the ceremony. The promotional truck will visit various schools, landmarks, and busy streets between June 14 and July 14. Its design is student-oriented and aims to enhance the NS awareness of young people and the general public.
The Award Presentation Ceremony of NSlogan Parent-Child Design Competition was held on the same day. The competition received nearly 200 entries. Apart from a judging panel, the public may also select the winning entries. Four police officers from different Districts respectively won the champion and three Most Popular Awards voted by the public. Certificates were presented to them by the officiating guests. The Best Participation Major Formation Award was won by the New Territories North (NTN) and the prize was received by Regional Commander of NTN Lam Man-han.
