The Personnel Services and Staff Relations (PS&SR) Branch held the Annual Force Colour Awards cum SPORTS Challenge 21 Presentation Ceremony on June 12. Over 220 regular and auxiliary officers, civilian staff and their family members attended the event.
Commissioner Chow Yat-ming served as guest of honour at the Annual Force Colours Awards Presentation Ceremony. 28 officers were awarded the Annual Force Colours Award for Sports while 16 officers were presented with the Award for Arts for their excellence. Police Athletics Club’s member Cheng Hok-sum was awarded the Watson Cup while the New Territories North (NTN) Regional Headquarters was awarded the Purdon Shield.
Furthermore, in order to foster good habits with regular exercise, PS&SR Branch organised SPORTS Challenge 21 from April 22 to May 12, encouraging participants to engage in at least 30 minutes of daily physical activity for 21 consecutive days to establish a healthy lifestyle. The response was overwhelming with 2 269 participants enrolled. The top ten participants with the highest exercise hours were awarded High Achiever Awards, while NTN and the Police College were awarded the Highest Participation Award and Highest Cumulative Exercise Hours Award.
