To promote cross-cultural exchanges and community harmony, Junior Police Call (JPC) of Yau Tsim District (YTDIST) held a Bowling Fun Day with “Project Gemstone” on May 25. With the theme of “Sports without Boundaries, Inclusion without Distance”, the event brought local and non-ethnic Chinese youth together to encourage community harmony through bowling.

Bowling world champion Mr Wu Siu-hong, Hong Kong representative Mr Lui Chin-hung and professional coach Mr Lau Kwun-ho were invited to teach teenagers bowling skills and demonstrate practical techniques. District Commander (DC) Ngai Chi-shung and Deputy DC Chak Wai-kit of YTDIST and the sponsor of this event, President of JPC YTDIST Honorary President Council Mr Kung Fang, attended to interact with teenagers and emphasised the importance of cultivating a sense of belonging to the community and positive values.
