The 29th Tripartite Technical Support Meeting was held in Hong Kong from June 19 to 20. Led by Chief Superintendent of Crime Wing Support Yu Hoi-kwan, representatives of the Force, Government Laboratory and Forensic Pathology Service of Department of Health met with the delegations from Guangdong and Macao.

Experts from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao had an in-depth discussion about six specialised fields, namely fingerprint examination, explosive ordnance disposal, firearms examination, police dog training, chemical forensic examination and forensic pathology. They exchanged views on inspection methods, technical standards and practical experience. Suggestions on further collaboration were also raised.

Yu Hoi-kwan expressed sincere gratitude to all participants and stressed that this meeting not only strengthened the cooperation of the three places on criminal technology discipline but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.
