Airport Security Unit (ASU) and Witness Protection Unit (WPU) conducted a joint training at the SkyPier of Hong Kong International Airport on July 10. The training aimed at assessing the capability of the two tactical units in handling unforeseen attacks at the airport. Simulated operations included the treatment of the injured, immediate evacuation of protected persons and immediate tactical intervention to safeguard the security of the airport. The training reinforced the interoperability between ASU and WPU, and significantly enhanced their capabilities in command, communication, and crisis management.

Under the cover of ASU, WPU escorts the protectee away from the scene.
