On July 26, Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) partnered with the Police Mentorship Programme (PMP) of Personnel Wing to host ‘CSTCB x PMP Tech Fair 2025’, kicking off the 10th anniversary celebrations for the establishment of CSTCB with the participation of more than a hundred PMP mentors and mentees. Led by Acting Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Kwok Mei-sum and Chief Superintendent of CSTCB Lam Cheuk-ho, the mentors showcased cutting-edge technology and the diversified nature of police work to the mentees through interactive means.


Kwok Mei-sum encouraged the mentees to actively equip themselves in the face of cyber threats. Lam Cheuk-ho encouraged the mentees to master the latest cybercrime tactics and cutting-edge digital forensic technologies to bring innovative thinking in the Force’s digital transformation.


The mentors explained the solving of deepfake face-swapping scams, phishing SMS scams and data sharing mechanism under ‘Scameter’. They also demonstrated several cutting-edge technologies. The event not only deepened mentees’ understanding of digital policing but also reinforced their aspirations of joining the Force.
