The 12th Cross-disciplined Forces Training Programme for Ethnic Minority (EM) Youth was held at the Immigration Service Institute of Training and Development on August 27. The programme was jointly organised by the Public Relations Wing and the Immigration Department, with support from other disciplined services, including the Auxiliary Medical Service, Civil Aid Service, Correctional Services Department, Customs and Excise Department, Fire Services Department and Government Flying Service. A total of 41 EM youths participated in the programme.

Participants visited various simulated training facilities, including mock courtroom and immigration counters, and tried out different equipment at the Tactical Training Ground under the guidance of instructors. Additionally, the programme included career workshops which provided participants with in-depth knowledge of the work areas and entry requirements of various disciplinary forces, encouraging them to start their career planning early.
