In order to promote social and pet inclusivity, the Personnel Services and Staff Relations Branch has launched a revitalisation scheme for Tai Mei Tuk Activities Training Centre (TMTATC) early this year. The revitalisation scheme includes organising a mural design competition with the theme “One Force” and pet-friendly activities, as well as collaborating with Hong Chi Association (HCA), the service contractor of TMTATC, to provide cleaning and catering services for police districts.

On August 23, Commissioner Chow Yat-ming and Chairman of HCA Council Mr Yau Tang-wah attended the mural painting completion award presentation ceremony at TMTATC. The designs of the winner and the first runner-up were painted on the walls by Force colleagues and their children respectively, demonstrating the core value of “One Force” and the united power of the Force.

The “Dogs Cats Spots” Dog Summer Water Party 2.0, which was the first pet-friendly activity exclusively for Force colleagues, began immediately after the completion of the award presentation ceremony. In addition to swimming pools and toys available on site for pets to play with, HCA provided a wide variety of food and beverages, and sold handcrafted packaged coffee, cookies and exquisite items made by its trainees.
