This marked the inaugural participation of the Identification Bureau (IB) as an AFSN member since joining in 2024. Chief Inspector Chan Shuk-yee and Chief Inspector Tan Tung-fai represented IB to attend the meeting, with Tan Tung-fai elected the vice-chairperson of the Fingerprint Workgroup. His election not only affirms his professional leadership skill but also demonstrates the international recognition of the IB's contributions to the forensic fingerprint field in Asia.
