District Commander of Sau Mau Ping District Tse Tsui-yan led officers from the Operations Wing to Melbourne, Australia to pay a visit to the Australian Federal Police and Victoria Police from September 23 to 27.

The Force’s three-member delegation shared their experiences in organising mega events at the Kai Tak Sports Park and the implementation details of the Pilot Scheme for “Operational Deployment of Drones”. Both parties conducted in-depth discussions on issues related to mega events and drones policing.

The delegation also visited the Melbourne Cricket Ground to understand the measures of the Federal Police and Victoria Police during the Australian Football League Grand Final, and exchange professional knowledge for enhancing the risk management capabilities of both parties.

The delegation visits the Victoria Police Centre and exchanges experience in handling major events.
