Arranged by the Police College (College), Senior Superintendent (Operations) of Kowloon East Region Yip Kit-fai led a Force delegation to the Beijing Police College to participate in the 117th Mainland Development Program for the Hong Kong Police Force from September 8 to 19.

The delegation attended the thematic courses offered by the professors of the Beijing Police College covering important topics like national security, regional development, as well as the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. They also visited the Law Enforcement and Case Management Center of the Haidian Branch of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, as well as the E-Government Platform of the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Public Security to learn about the professional advancement and technological application in policing in Chinese Mainland. In addition, the delegation went to Tiananmen Square to attend the flag-raising ceremony and toured several spots to experience the achievement in technology and modernisation of the Motherland.
