The New Territories South Region (NTS) held the second liaison meeting with Non-Ethnic Chinese (NEC) community leaders and Ethnic Minority (EM) Care Teams on September 11. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Regional Commander of NTS Yeung Man-pun. Six NEC community leaders and representatives of EM Care Teams from four Districts also attended.

At the meeting, Yeung Man-pun thanked the leaders and representatives for promoting the communication between the Force and the NEC community. The meeting also received support from the Crime Prevention Offices of New Territories North and Kowloon East which gave a sharing on the Diverse Community Family Protection Programme and the Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse Ordinance. NTS officers presented the crime statistics and youth-related crime, and provided crime-prevention information.
