To support the 15th National Games (NG), the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities (NGD) and the 9th National Special Olympic Games (NSOG) to be held at Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP), the Operations Wing of the Kowloon East Region (KE) launched the upgraded version of Easy Leave website during the large-scale football match on October 18.
In addition to enhanced interface design, the upgraded version of Easy Leave can display crowd levels along dispersal routes clearer. Three key features are introduced, including displaying detailed 15th NG and NSOG event information and ticketing links for competitions held at the KTSP; displaying estimated event end time, taxi waiting time and the number of waiting passengers, as well as including designated pick-up and drop-off locations for cross-boundary coaches, special buses and private cars; and providing estimated departure time for special buses, real-time displays of parking availability and link to navigation services with newly-added pop-up window that disseminates important messages.
Over 8 000 users have been recorded on the launch day of the upgraded version of Easy Leave, with the page view-to-audience ratio reaching its highest level since the website’s launch in February. Users reflected that the upgraded version of Easy Leave not only improved user experience and assisted taxi drivers in getting the event end time and passenger demands, but also enabled frontline officers to respond to enquiries about dispersal information promptly.
