At the 2025 International ESG Forum of Hong Kong and Annual Awards Ceremony organised by the Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group on October 21, the Force was honoured with the Best ESG Practice Award and the Best ESG Digitalisation Innovation Application Award in recognition of its digitalisation of Fixed Penalty Notices (penalty tickets) and the eTraffic Ticket Platform. Assistant Commissioner (Support) Ng Chi-chung attended the ceremony and accepted the awards on behalf of the Force.

On the same day, at the Smart Living Partnership Awards 2025 organised by ET Net Limited with the awards theme AI & Digital Transformation in Smart Cities, the Force was awarded the Outstanding eTraffic Ticket Platform award in the Smart Government category. Chief Superintendent of Traffic Leung Shun received the award on behalf of the Force.

The Force launched the Traffic Penalty Ticket Digitalisation initiative and the eTraffic Ticket Platform in June. The accolades showcase the excellent achievements of the Force in leveraging digital policing and sustainable development. The Traffic Branch Headquarters will continue to work with Information Systems Wing and introduce new features that provide convenience to the eTraffic Ticket Platform in phases to add incentive for the public to use the platform.
