To complement the Force’s initiative in implementing smart policing, New Territories South (NTS) launched Project IntelligENTS to promote the brand new Hong Kong Police (HKP) Mobile Application (App).

Operations Wing of NTS held a promotion and sharing session on the HKP Mobile App on October 8. Superintendent Fan Chun-yip of the Digital Services Division of Information Systems Wing (ISW) presented at the sharing session on the major functions, key enhancements, and the brand new AI Chatbot ”YesSir” of the App, with a view to allowing officers to understand its advantages and potential. The event attracted the participation of over 80 NTS officers and over 100 live-streaming viewers.

Speaking at the event, Regional Commander of NTS Mak Chin-ho thanked participants for their support in driving digital policing. He emphasised that the purpose of Project IntelligENTS was to provide more convenient and quality policing services to the public through promoting the HKP Mobile App.

To further promote the App, NTS displayed promotional posters in police stations in the Region and created a dedicated QR code for its staff to download. Officers will continue to encourage more members of the public to use the HKP Mobile App through various channels and activities.
