The Police Mentorship Programme (PMP) 2025/26 Orientation Day was held on October 26 at the Police Sports and Recreation Club. The number of participants in the Programme this year exceeded 3 200, reaching a record high.

The Commissioner Chow Yat-ming, as the guest of honour of the Orientation Day, together with the PMP Head Mentor Kwok Mei-sum, Deputy Head Mentor Tsang Fan-kwok and representatives from various institutions, officiated at the opening ceremony. The event drew over 750 mentors and mentees from local, Chinese Mainland and overseas tertiary institutions, and Diploma of Applied Education Programmes.

The theme of the Orientation Day was “Go Beyond Yourself • Level Up Together”. The Recruitment Division designed a series of group games featuring e-sports and sports elements, enabling mentees to experience team bonding and adaptability valued by the Force in simulated scenarios. Mentors and mentees fought side by side, and gave play to tacit understanding as they tackled each challenge together. Mentors also shared their experience of joining the Force through the PMP and introduced the upcoming internship opportunities and activities for the year ahead.
