The Junior Police Call (JPC) Annual Parade cum Flag Raising Competition Awards Presentation Ceremony 2025 was held in the Police College (College) on November 2. Commissioner cum JPC Honorary Deputy Chief President Chow Yat-ming was the reviewing officer of the event, while Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Yip Wan-lung and Assistant Commissioner (Public Relations) cum Chairperson of the JPC Central Advisory Board (CAB) Chan Sze-tat served as award presenters.
This year, 20 squads participated in the Parade event, marked an increase of 10 squads from last year. To strengthen communication and cooperation with different youth uniformed groups, Correctional Services Pioneer Leaders, Customs YES, Fire & Ambulance Services Teen Connect and Immigration Department Youth Leaders Corps were invited to participate in the parade for the first time. Moreover, the Police Band Cadet also performed a standalone show at the parade for the first time.
In his speech at the parade, the Commissioner said he was highly encouraged and gratified by the members’ performance. Recalling his experience of completing training at the College, he encouraged members to keep striving, making contributions and strengthening their mental resilience through foot drill training, and striving to become youth leaders and fight crime partners together, thereby carrying on the fine traditions of JPC. He also thanked the JPC CAB members, Honorary Presidents from various districts, participating teachers and students as well as voluntary foot drill instructors for their support to the event.
The JPC Flag Raising Competition Awards Presentation Ceremony was also held on the same day, attracted a total of 106 primary and secondary schools to compete for various prizes.
