The Police College (College) was awarded the “Best/Model Internal Quality Assurance Award” by the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN) during the 2025 APQN Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting held on November 21 in recognition of its outstanding performance in internal quality assurance mechanisms. The College was also regarded as an exemplary model with promotion potential across the Asia-Pacific region. This marked the College’s second time receiving this honour, reflecting APQN’s acknowledgement of the College’s continuous efforts in maintaining an effective internal quality assurance mechanism.

Established in 2003, APQN comprises 192 members from 45 countries and regions, with the mission of advancing quality assurance in higher education in the Asia-Pacific region. This year’s APQN conference was held in Hong Kong under the theme of “Embracing Industrial Collaboration for Quality Higher Education”. Representatives from higher education and quality assurance sectors worldwide were brought together to explore the future development of higher education.
