The Railway Division of Operations Wing, Operations Division, Critical Infrastructure Security Coordination Centre and the Media Relations Section of Public Relations Wing visited the Data Studio of the MTR Corporation Limited (MTRCL) in Fo Tan on December 18, 2025, and had exchanges with representatives of MTRCL to deliberate how to leverage on big data analysis and technological applications for enhancing the overall operational efficacy.
Officers were also arranged to visit the MTR Media Centre which was open for visit for the first time and Ho Tung Lau Depot to understand how to conduct “Smart Maintenance” by using robots and technological equipment. The event fostered collaboration between various Force units and MTRCL, and facilitated the exchange on infrastructure security, innovative technologies as well as media communication between both parties.
