On January 8, the Kowloon East Regional (KE) Sports Day was held at the Police Sports and Recreation Club. Over 600 officers of seven formations under KE participated actively and gave their best in seven traditional sports as well as four new sports events.

Among several new sports, the highlight went to “E-Dodgeball” which combined virtual reality technology. Other new sports included pickleball, foot dart and bubble football which tested participants’ coordination and teamwork. Officers also fully realised their physical fitness and displayed team spirit in the traditional events which included seven-a-side football, three-on-three basketball, badminton, table tennis, bowling, tug-of-war, and the Promotion Relay Race.

After intense competition, Sau Mau Ping District became the overall champion, while Tseung Kwan O District and KE Operations Wing secured the first and second runners-up respectively.
