The Honorary College Advisors (HCA) Appointment Ceremony was held on March 6. Commissioner Chow Yat-ming presented appointment certificates to two newly appointed Honorary Advisors, namely former Commissioner Siu Chak-yee and former Director of College Chan Yee-lai, as well as to 15 re-appointed Honorary Advisors. During the ceremony, he also expressed gratitude for their contributions to the College and the Force over the past years.

In addition, the Commissioner presented a Long Service souvenir to Dr Louie Hung-tak Lobo, who has served the College for over 18 years, as a token of sincere appreciation.

The College was established in January 2006, replacing the former Police Training School, and the HCA Scheme was introduced in the same year. Over the years, the advisory team has assisted the Force in numerous training and development initiatives across various professional fields. Currently, the College has a total of 41 Honorary Advisors. The College remains committed to continuous improvement and to strengthening cooperation with local and global strategic partners, with the goal of becoming a world-leading police training centre.
