“Reviewing Together, Advancing Together: A Dialogue with the 42nd Floor” was held on March 3 at the Auditorium of the Police Headquarters, with live broadcast at five other venues and on P-TV. The event aimed to review the Force’s achievements in 2025, outline the key priorities for the year ahead, and address officers’ concerns.

The event received overwhelming response, with more than 800 officers attending in person and approximately 2 000 officers watched the P-TV live broadcast. In addition to asking questions on-site, officers could express their concerns by scanning a QR code. They could also raise questions via P-Chat and P-TV comment box.

Commissioner Chow Yat-ming thanked Force members for their contributions, reviewed the achievements in general law and order situation, and outlined the operational priorities for 2026, including policing for the 2026 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Finance Ministers’ Meeting and the 94th INTERPOL General Assembly. The Commissioner also shared his perspectives on traffic enforcement and anti-deception efforts, and reaffirmed the commitment that the Force would continuously support frontline officers in various aspects such as improving the working environment for crime officers, pursuing Five-Day Week and digitalising daily workflows. In the coming year, the Force would continue to pursue three major objectives: safeguarding national security, promoting smart policing and fostering team culture. The Commissioner took pride in officers’ professional performances and looked forward to seizing every opportunity to showcase the Force’s achievements to international law enforcement partners.
