The Public Relations Wing held the Junior Police Call (JPC) Award Scheme 2025 Gold Award Presentation Ceremony on March 21 to commend JPC members who actively participated in activities and demonstrated outstanding performance over the past year.
This year, a total of 6 257 JPC members participated in the Scheme, with a record high of 1 432 award recipients. Among them, 153 members received the Gold Award, 384 the Silver Award, and 895 the Bronze Award. The ceremony also recognised JPC school clubs from various districts for their efforts in actively promoting
anti-deception awareness and education on safeguarding national security.
In his speech, Commissioner Chow Yat-ming remarked that the steady rise in the number of award recipients reflected the Scheme’s effectiveness, and demonstrated its contribution to promoting the physical and mental development of young people and cultivating youth leaders. The Commissioner emphasised that nurturing young talents was a mission of the JPC. The Force will continue to bring together different sectors of the community to connect with young people, whereas the JPC will keep providing a platform for youths to showcase their talents, encouraging them to pursue excellence and bravely realise their dreams. The Commissioner also expressed his gratitude to the Public Relations Wing and colleagues of the Police Community Relations Offices in all districts for their hard work in promoting JPC’s development.
The ceremony not only acknowledged the efforts of JPC members, but also encouraged more young people to participate in community service and safeguard social security. The Scheme will continue to cultivate young leaders and promote community involvement, injecting vitality and hope into Hong Kong.
