To promote a healthy lifestyle and strengthen the camaraderie among officers, the Service Quality Wing (SQW) organised a Sports Day at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on March 6, with more than 200 participants comprising Force officers, civilian staff as well as their family members. Chairman of the Independent Police Complaints Council (IPCC) Ms Wong Pui-sze, Assistant Director of Operations 1 of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) Mr Wong Wai-kit as well as more than 60 guests from IPCC and ICAC were also invited to attend the event.
Led by Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chan Joon-sun and Director of Management Services Chiu Wing-lan, officers took part in friendly matches such as pickleball, dodgeball, football goal kicking game and relay with representatives from IPCC and ICAC. Family fun relay, balloon twisting and face-painting workshops were also available at the venue for officers and their family members.
The Complaints Against Police Office (Kowloon) team won the overall championship, the Internal Investigations Office and Integrity Audit Action Group finished as first runner-up, and the Complaints Against Police Office (Hong Kong) team finished as second runner-up.
