Since June 15, 2025, the Force has implemented the digitalisation of Fixed Penalty Notices (penalty tickets) and rolled out the first-phase functions of the “eTraffic Ticket Platform”, which has been operating smoothly since its launch. To further enhance system performance, the Traffic Branch Headquarters (TBHQ) is developing the second-phase functions and plans to launch them within this year.
The TBHQ held three briefing sessions from March 27 to 31 to introduce the new second-phase functions to over 70 representatives from the transportation and logistics sectors and gathered feedback for further optimisation. The key focus of the briefing sessions was on explaining the “Vehicle Ticket Management System”, which allows vehicle owners to authorise others to assist in ticket handling, thereby facilitating administrative management for fleet operators and vehicle companies. The new “Dispute Liability” function enables members of the public to submit disputes directly on the digital platform. In the future, users will also be able to request access to photographic evidence related to violations through the platform, making it more convenient for relevant parties to review such evidence.
Industry representatives welcomed these new features, believing that they will effectively improve the efficiency in ticket processing for enterprises. The TBHQ will continue to maintain close communication with various stakeholders and is committed to leveraging technology to optimise service quality and resource utilisation, thereby enhancing overall efficiency.
