The Financial Intelligence and Investigation Bureau (FIIB) held the Financial Investigation Course Putonghua Class 2026 between April 13 and 17, with the participation of a total of 19 representatives from financial intelligence units, regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies across the Chinese Mainland, Macao and Hong Kong. The course covered Hong Kong’s anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-financing of terrorism (CFT) regime, along with experience sharing in combatting financial crimes.

In her speech, Chief Superintendent of FIIB Chan Kam-kuk highlighted the increasing challenges currently faced by law enforcement and regulatory bodies, including virtual assets, trusts and the application of emerging financial technologies. The course enabled participants to exchange best practices, strengthen professional connections and enhance cross-boundary collaborations in AML and CFT.

The FIIB will hold the International Financial Investigation Course English Class 2026 in August.
