The Senior Police Call (SPC) held the first “SPC Power to Safeguard” event at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on May 8, drawing the participation of approximately 300 SPC members. Centered on the theme of “Safeguard” from the four core pillars of the “PALS@SPC” framework, the event transformed abstract concepts into four concrete safety domains, namely Nation, Community, Home and Individual. The aim was to enhance safety awareness among the elderly and build a comprehensive protective barrier together.
The opening ceremony was officiated by Regional Commander of New Territories South cum Chairperson of the SPC Central Advisory Board (CAB) Cheung Wai-wah, Chief Superintendent of the
Public Relations Wing cum Vice-Chairperson of the SPC CAB Lam Sze-wan, together with SPC CAB members Ng Sau-kei, Dr Lam Wai-wing, Cheung Ka-ho and
Man Ka-ho.
In his speech, the Chairperson expressed his sincere gratitude to SPC CAB members, the Fire Services Department (FSD), officers from various Districts, and all SPC members for their unwavering support, providing an opportunity for the “Safety Forces” to come together.
