The Force and the Government Laboratory renewed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on June 3 during the 34th Police/Government Laboratory Liaison Committee Meeting. The MoU was signed by Director of Crime and Security
Chan Tung and Assistant Government Chemist (Forensic Science Division) Dr Cheng Yuk-ki, extending their partnership for another five years.
Since the signing of the first MoU in 2000, the two departments have maintained close collaboration in forensic services and crime investigations. The renewal of the MoU further enhances their cooperation and effectiveness in tackling emerging challenges in law enforcement.
