Regional Commander of Kowloon East (RC KE) Tse Tsui-yan attended the fourth International Programme on Crisis Leadership organised by Singapore Home Team Academy in partnership with the US Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers between June 16 and 19. The programme provides an international exchange platform for exploring the global best practices in crisis leadership and management.
The programme is structured around three core domains, enabling the participants to have an understanding of how the emerging global trends shape the prevailing crisis management landscape, strengthening participants’ crisis preparedness and response capabilities, sharpening the leadership of the participants in uncertain environments for mobilising the community to respond to crises through efficient team management and decisive decision-making.
Together with senior law enforcement and emergency management officers from more than ten countries, she engaged in discussions, exchanged views on contemporary public security challenges, and shared her experiences with real-life crisis incidents. RC KE remarked that the programme not only enhanced her understanding of crisis landscapes but also affirmed the critical role of international partnership in building resilient communities and responding to unknown challenges.
Following the programme, she undertook a duty visit to the National Stadium and local police agencies to exchange experiences on aspects such as handling mega events and smart policing.
