The 13th Cross-disciplined Forces Training Programme for Ethnic Minority (EM) Youth was held at the Hong Kong Customs College (College) on July 20. A total of 28 EM youths participated in the programme, which was jointly organised by the Public Relations Wing of the Force and the Customs and Excise Department with support from other disciplined services including the Auxiliary Medical Service, Civil Aid Service, Correctional Services Department, Immigration Department, Fire Services Department, and Government Flying Service.
Participants visited various training facilities and Tactical Training Ground of the College to understand the work of Customs officers and acquire firearms and shooting knowledge. Participants also joined the national security lecture and career workshops, which allowed them to understand the importance of national security, as well as the work areas and entry requirements of various disciplined services.
