Head of the Money Laundering Reporting Office Switzerland (MROS) Mr Anton Brönnimann and Deputy Head Ms Michaela Schütz visited the Police Headquarters on August 19, and paid a courtesy call on Commissioner Chow Yat-ming. During the meeting, the Commissioner and Mr Anton Brönnimann reviewed the cooperation between both parties. They exchanged views on combatting financial crime and anti-money laundering, and explored collaboration opportunities in the future.

The delegation also held a strategic dialogue with the Financial Intelligence and Investigation Bureau focusing on strengthening intelligence-sharing mechanisms and exploring joint operational capabilities, and reached a consensus on the prospect of signing a Memorandum of Understanding. In addition, the delegation visited the Anti-Deception Alliance of the Commercial Crime Bureau (CCB) to understand how the Force combats financial crime through public-private partnerships.
