The 2026 Second Half Shenzhen-Hong Kong Land Port Police Cooperation Working Meeting was held in Shenzhen on August 24. Led by Director of Operations Lui Kam-ho, the delegation of the Force met with the delegation led by Party Committee Member and Director of the Intelligence and Command Center of the Public Security Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality Mr Zhang Yong. They conducted discussion about deepening border-area policing collaboration and combatting cross-border crime.

Before the meeting, Mr Zhang Yong accompanied the delegation of the Force to the Nanshan Branch Bureau Coastal Defense and Anti-Smuggling Unit base with a view to gaining a first-hand understanding of the anti-smuggling work.

As the 2026 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meetings will be held in Shenzhen and Hong Kong successively, police of the two places will enhance security coordination, intensify cross-border crime crackdowns, and continuously advance policing technological innovation and experience sharing.
