The Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB), in collaboration with the Digital Policy Office and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre, co-organised the “Innovate with Grace, Peace in Cyberspace” campaign to enhance public cybersecurity awareness and promote the safe use of emerging technologies.

The campaign commenced with a themed tram promotion on August 28. The Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Professor Sun Dong, Senior Superintendent of CSTCB Leung Oi-lam, representatives of the organising bodies and other guests officiated at the launch ceremony.

Two thematic trams are shuttling across Hong Kong Island from August 28 to September 24. One of them showcases winning entries of the artificial intelligence (AI)-generated Four-panel Comic Contest. The other one introduces common cybersecurity risks and practical security tips.

The finale event, “Build a Secure Cyberspace 2026 - Innovate with Grace, Peace in Cyberspace” Seminar and AI-generated Four-panel Comic Contest Award Ceremony” was held on September 4. Cybersecurity experts shared insights into the safe application of AI, emerging cyber threats and protection strategies during the seminar, and presented awards to the contest winners in recognition of their leverage of AI to promote cybersecurity in a vivid and comprehensible manner.
