The National Security Department arranged the awardees of the NStudio Marketing Proposal Competition to visit the Legislative Council (LegCo) Complex on August 25. LegCo member Mr Tang Fei, serving as the guest guide of the event, led the awardees to understand the operations and functions of the legislature.

Through Mr Tang Fei’s explanation, the awardees appreciated that the work of the LegCo is closely tied to Hong Kong’s development, citizens’ daily lives, and the safeguarding of national security. Political security is the important cornerstone of national security. The effective operation of the LegCo is vital to sustaining Hong Kong’s prosperity and stability.

The visit not only enhanced the awardees’ understanding of the LegCo, but also reinforced their awareness of the rule of law and social responsibility, enabling them to understand the meaning of political security under A Holistic Approach to National Security.
