Kowloon East (KE) Region organised the KE Family Fun Day on September 5 to enhance the understanding of police work by officers’ family members, strengthen police-community partnerships, and promote a harmonious family culture. The event drew nearly 800 police officers and their families.

Speaking at the event, Regional Commander of KE Tse Tsui-yan thanked families for their support and understanding of police officers. She also expressed gratitude to the organising personnel.

Through participating in the “Little Detective Crime-Solving Script Game” and the “Little Police Rescue Challenge”, family members gained first-hand experience of police work. They also watched an Emergency Unit breaching demonstration and a Police Dog Unit performance, viewed a Traffic Police equipment display, and visited the KE Higher Command. Other Force units also attended to show support. Additionally, St. Joseph’s Anglo-Chinese School, a partner school under the KE Animal Watchers Programme’s Animal Care Corner, set up a booth to showcase reptiles.

Officers’ family members enthusiastically participate in the activities.
