Officers aid stranded law maker

(This letter was sent to the Kwai Tsing District Commander)

I was driving along Kwai Chung Road near Wai Lun Centre at 8.30 am on July 8 when my car broke down and had to stop in the middle of the road. The situation was quite dangerous as the incident happened during the morning rush hour and vehicles using the road had to change lanes.

While I was worrying about the situation, two police officers came by and helped me push my car to Tai Lin Pai Road so it would not block traffic.

I forgot to write down the UI numbers of the two officers but would like to express my appreciation for their assistance. I hope the good deeds of the two officers will be commended.

Lee Wing-tat
Legislative Councillor
(Editor's note: the two Police Constables were
Fu Ka-ho and Au Man-chi of Kwai Chung Division.)
