PTU HQ canteen re-opens


Good grub: ACP OPS Cheung Chi-sum meets diners at the new-look eatery
Assistant Commissioner of Police (Operations) Cheung Chi-sum officiated at the re-opening of the canteen for Junior Police Officers at the Police Tactical Unit Headquarters in Fanling on August 9 after a major renovation exercise.

The works upgraded the hygiene, operations and quality of the canteen which can cater to about 250 diners.

Using staff and trainee feedback, canteen manager the PTU JPOs' Welfare Committee decided to offer more diversity in the meals, and is now serving assorted Chinese and Western cuisine every day. With the Committee running the canteen, all proceeds go to the welfare fund for PTU officers.
