Mong Kok street-deception awareness day
Mong Kok District and the Regional Crime Prevention Unit (Mong Kok) held a street-deception awareness campaign in Sai Yeung Choi Street on August 20. Deputy District Commander of Mong Kok Chau Tai-tak officiated at the ceremony, assisted by television personalities Cheung Ka-fai, Suen Huen, Yuen King-tan, Cheung Yuk-shan and Choi Tsz-kin who distributed pamphlets reminding the public of deception tricks used by swindlers. There was also an exhibition on deception cases featuring an array of items used in crimes such as the street sale of so-called exotic 'medicines', 'hi-tech products' and 'low-price gold ornaments'.
