A doctor and his wife thanked officers recently for their efforts in solving a theft case.
A nurse working at Dr Chan Hung-chiu's clinic at Berwick Street, Shek Kip Mei, stole $10,000 from his bank account in January by forging his signature on a cheque.
Investigation Team 1 of Shek Kip Mei Division took up the case and the woman later admitted the offence and was jailed for six weeks in June.
Dr Chan's wife presented souvenirs to the officers.
