Songstress sweeps the Club

From October 29, the Police Officers' Club offers up a special treat in the form of the lovely Lucia who'll perform popular Cantonese, Putonghua and English classics every Friday and Saturday from 7 to 9 pm. She'll grace the TSK Hall, so for top entertainment while you dine call 2591-1924 and book your reservation!

The Club is arranging a kids' handicraft course on Saturday afternoons - November 27, December 4, 11 and 18 - from 2.30 to 4 pm. If your little one is aged seven to 12, they can learn how to twist balloons, decorate masks and make models from clay and other fabrics.

Cost is $40 per session, which includes all materials and tuition. Meanwhile, adults can learn flower arranging on December 11 and 18, with a session costing $100 which includes flowers and tuition.

Numbers are limited, so book early at Club Reception on 2591-1911.

The Rugby World Cup continues, and you can capture the atmosphere of the big games on the big screen down at the BIG Verandah Bar - call 2591-1930 for info.

Sunday October 31 is the Children's Halloween Party with games, prizes, the spooky Tunnel of Terror, Dracula the Mad Magician, and a lovely tea to finish. Tickets are going fast - on sale now at reception, priced $75.
