Crowd-control cheers (This letter was sent to Central District Commander Mike Francis) I write to thank you, on behalf of this firm and of close to 6,000 of our clients, for the courteous and efficient way in which your officers from Hollywood Road Police Station controlled a considerable queue on September 8, 9, 10, 11 and 18 at the Caritas Centre, Caine Road. The available space for the waiting crowd was utilised to the best advantage and the operation went very smoothly. Your officers' quiet efficiency and good humour ensured that there were no difficulties, despite sweltering heat and natural anxiety on the part of the participants. The people came and went in an orderly and cheerful fashion and our mission was accomplished with the minimum fuss in the minimum time. Please convey our thanks and appreciation to all concerned.
